What are my options if my phone is broken and I'm not eligible to upgrade?
Buddy upgrade: If another line billing to you is eligible to upgrade you can do a 'buddy upgrade' which allows a line unable to upgrade to use the eligibility from a line that is. If you'd like to do a buddy upgrade you can submit an upgrade request with the phone number that will be using the phone and send us an email with the phone number you'd like to use eligiblity from.
Repair: We partner with Computer Hardware, you can find a coupon for $5 off an iPhone repair on this page. For non-iPhones there are a few shops in Lincoln that can do repairs such as uBreakiFix and CPR Cell Phone Repair.
Refurbished phones: We sometimes have refurbished phones available for purchase. You can check what's available here.
Full price: If you want to go ahead and purchase a phone at full retail price you can submit an upgrade request and we'll reply letting you know you're not eligible to upgrade and ask if you'd like to purchase at full price.
What minutes don't count against my total?
Nights (9pm-5:59am), Weekends (9pm Friday to 5:59am Monday), and Verizon to Verizon calls are free.
Does my plan include data throttling?
Yes, your phone's data may throttle after 25GB of use in a cycle. The hotspot shares your phone's data and will also contribute to your usage.
What are the rates for international texting and calling?

How long will it take a phone I ordered to be delivered?
Phones typically ship within 1-5 business days as long as there are no delays.
Can I move my data from iPhone to Android and vice versa?
Yes, we can help in store or you can use the move to iOS app (Android to Apple) or the built-in transfer for Apple to Android. There are instructions on this page: /information-services/huskertech/node/529
What is the early termination fee for my contract?
For cell phones, the first 12 months of your contract your early termination fee is $500. In the last 12 months that fee drops to $250. For T-Mobile Home Internet lines the termination fee is $100 throughout the contract.

What forms of payment does Huskertech accept?
We accept all major cards, tap pay, and NCard (up to $300).
Does Huskertech repair laptops?

What laptop brands does Huskertech sell?
We currently sell Dell, Lenovo, and Apple Laptops.
Does Huskertech have discounts or education pricing?
Yes, on laptops and iPads the education pricing is included in on the price you see online and in-store.
Can I order items online?
We have a Marketplace Website where you can purchase items online. To find our online store, go to https://marketplace.unl.edu/huskertech and log in using your TrueYou credentials. This is open to staff, faculty, and students. If you are retired, you will not be able to purchase online and would need to come into the store or call us at 402-472-5151.
